At 7R Performance Ltd ("we", "our", "us"), we are committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the UK GDPR, the Data Protection Act 2018, and the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR).
This policy explains how we collect, use, store and protect your personal information when you visit 7r-gym.com, enquire about our services, or become a member at CrossFit Woolwich / 7R The Training Club.
1. Information We Collect
We may collect your name, email, phone number, emergency contact details, membership and attendance information, health and fitness information provided on PAR-Q or similar screening forms, payment-related information, and technical/cookie data from your use of our website. Where you give us someone else's details (e.g. an emergency contact), you confirm you've told them and they're aware of the purpose.
2. Health Information
We ask members to complete health screening (PAR-Q) before training. This is "special category data" under UK GDPR and is only used with your explicit consent, or where necessary to protect someone's vital interests or to assess fitness to train safely. It's shared with coaching staff on a need-to-know basis only.
3. How We Use Your Information
To respond to enquiries, manage bookings and membership, deliver coaching safely, contact your emergency contact if needed, improve our services, send marketing where you've consented, and meet our legal obligations.
4. Lawful Basis
We rely on your consent, performance of a contract, legal compliance, or our legitimate business interests. Health data is processed on the additional bases in Section 2. You can withdraw consent at any time.
5. Marketing
We'll only email you marketing with your consent. You can unsubscribe anytime via the link in our emails or by contacting us — this won't affect essential service communications.
6. Sharing Your Information
We don't sell your data. We share it only with trusted providers who help run our business (e.g. Wodify, payment processors), and only where required by law or to protect our legal rights.
7. International Transfers
Where a provider processes data outside the UK, we ensure appropriate safeguards (e.g. the UK International Data Transfer Agreement) are in place.
8. Data Retention
Membership/financial records: retained for 6 years after membership ends
Health/PAR-Q screening forms: retained for the duration of membership plus 5 years
CCTV footage: retained for 30 days
Marketing consent records: retained until withdrawn
Enquiries/leads (non-members): retained for 6 years if no membership results
9. Payment Information
We don't store your full card details. Payments are processed by our payment provider in line with PCI DSS.
10. CCTV
We operate CCTV for security and crime prevention. Access is limited to authorised staff. You can request footage of yourself by contacting us below, subject to others' privacy rights.
11. Your Rights
You can request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or transfer of your data, and object to certain processing. We'll respond within one month (extendable by two for complex requests). Contact us using the details below, or complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk / 0303 123 1113.
12. Cookies
Our site uses strictly necessary cookies (no consent needed) and, where you consent via our cookie banner, analytics and marketing cookies (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Pixel), retained for up to 6 years. You can change your preference anytime via the cookie settings link or your browser settings.
13. Data Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no online transmission can be guaranteed 100% secure.

We're not responsible for the privacy practices of external sites we link to.
